The story revolves around the escalating problems of a middle-aged couple, Mel and Edna Edison, living on Second Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. With all their problems, Mel does the only thing left for him to do; he has a nervous breakdown. It is on recovery that we come to esteem him all the more. For Mel and his wife and people like them have the resilience, the grit to survive

Restrictions

Please note that parking in Swarthmore can be a challenge. Parking is available on the street in front of Swarthmore United Methodist Church, and in the municipal parking lot next to the Swarthmore Library which is located next to the church. There is NO CHARGE for either of these in the evening or on the weekends and holidays, and, on Saturdays and Sundays, you can park in the SEPTA rail station lot. See map with just a sampling of parking available.
